Thesis for Second Paper

I redid it and revised it! At least its better than late!

Do you know your true identity? Think about this for a second. When referring to this question I am challenging you to a "self identity" awareness. Many people are still trying to find themselves; still deciding the type of person they want to become into or be perceived of by others. Knowing what someone wants from others, the way the individual wants to be seen by others, and finding his/her "nitch" in life are all part of finding and knowing one's self identity. I will be comparing my own self identity with that of Crooked River Burning’s character’s in the search for their self identity.

Reflection on the Class

I guess what I learned about this class is how to write a better paper and interpret a bigger meaning from the book. I also discovered better time management and where i can focus the most-which is of course at the school library!

I also had more practice with speeches because I know in my previous classes we definitely have not done enough of those. Its good to know how to write well as well as writing it out. I can't tell you how many errors I have seen older adults have with their writing. Especially when they try to act all professional.

Also on how to blog-which is my least favorite thing. I can't seem to get into the groove of it. I think its because i don't know any of friends that are soo hyped up in doing them. Basically I don't think its a very exciting website. But at least I know how to do them through this website.

Own Topic: Health Insurance

Let me start off by saying health insurance should not be costing the amount it does!

Its actually funny how they work. They only accept certain people in their program I guess you can call it based on many things such as age, weight, etc.

There was one time where i had problems with my health-more like weight gain problems. I ended up fainting in a public area because I wasn't getting the right nurishment. Someone called the ambulance and i was put on ivs for the rest of the day. When the bill arrived my insurance covered very little of it. I ended having to have sessions with a nutritionist but it wasn't covered by my insurance. They would only cover me if i was fat and had to see the nutritionist.

I guess being super skinny isn't as deadly as if I was obese?

Crooked River Burning

I would like to start off with by saying that it is a very hard book to understand! It switched to too many different characters and the reader loses track of the main ones! I had trouble following along with what the writer was talking about sometimes. The writer will also switch from talking about a character and place to being the character as well.

On top of that I don't think the book was a good read because I didn't find the Cleveland's history that interesting. Its a personal opinion I think.

Though it was a different way of writing which I am more aware of. Something different from normal reads I would say. There was a little too much going on in it.

I re-watched the clip of it on youtube to refreshen my memory. The video clips seems to be blaming the next generation about what is going to happen in our society in the terms of the economy if we dont do something about it. Just the way they cut some of the questions where the young people were kind of clueless of what is going on in our society.

I'm we know how much trouble and in debt we are in! The sound effects really did start to get me at certain points, especially around the emphasis points of major debt we are running ourselves as a country into. That made me want to do something-like start saving my money. But at the same they were saying to bust up the economy is to spend money?
